Cerakote Applications
While weapons are our specialty, we can apply cerakote to just about any item you can think of – and given the size of our shop and adjacent capabilities we accommodate large items, odd shaped items and high volume orders.
How is Cerakote Applied?
Applying Cerakote is a multi phase process that includes the following steps
- Disassembly – items are broken down to their component parts
- Sandblasting – Parts are blasted with a fine sanding application to promote adherence
- Degreasing – parts are soaked in a degreasing solution and baked to remove residual oil
- Spraying – parts are sprayed with a protective coating and then baked in a cerakote oven
Variations to the process can be added or repeated such as laser etching or multi-coat patterns.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
ThreatWerx was very patient with me answering all my questions. This was my first time getting something cerakoted. Turnaround time was fast though in the future they’ll probably get busy with more work coming in. Keep up the good work guys! I can’t wait to send you another build to cerakote! – C. Galinato
